Indigo Wyrd's idea is quite interesting.

What if ammo was moved to a seperate terminal, where you could purchase ammo, or bombs, with ped or sweat? This terminal would also be the only place to exchange ammo types. So you couldn't resell the ammo, or use this terminal to suck ped out of the system with sweatfarmers.

Any ammo they purchased would either have to be cycled through the lootpool, or returned to the ammoTT.

I'm sure somebody will explain why it won't work, but I like it.

Some people think MA should help the nubs - while others are worried about their initial investment and what they may lose.

I'm gonna end with this :
Buying sweat for more than it's "worth" makes the nub's day and that's worth at least $1, right ?

Its worth every $ some depositor is willing to spent, but its not worth bankrupting MA, setting a reasonable TT value at sweat.

1000 million chinise people, another 1000 millon indian people, all of them would be very happy earning an extra buck a day, by playing a computer game.
Most of them can´t afford a PC and Internet connection, but I am very sure more than 1% can! Thats 20million people. If they join EU and TT gives money for sweat, that means 20million $$$$ that MA lost every day. And that day by day, 24/7.
Sweating 1$ a day isn´t that hard, I can do it even when selling sweat at .3 to a reseller. But this reseller can´t buy the sweat of thousands of people, and his buyer can´t buy every amount of sweat this reseller gets from many many sweaters.
So if 1000 chinese do nothing else than sweating, thats around 500k sweat a hour, and if they use bots u have to multiply this number by 3-5. Lets say its around 1.5mio sweat a hour. They do that 24h a day (3 shift jobs). Thats 36mio sweat a day. Ask this reseller if he is able to buy 36mio sweat a day, think this will be a good laugh. If there is a TT value, the TT buys this insane amounts of sweat. Lets say only 1 PED/1000 sweat its, still 36k PED, and thats 3600 $$$$. Live in china is cheap and income very very low, compared to europe or america. 3,6k$/day is damn lot money for chinese company. And thats only one compony that can do this, there will raise many more, as china has a lot more than 1000 people, that need a job that pays them 1$/day.

This chinese people are not noobs, they know exactly what to do and where they have real chance to earn some RL bucks with botusing in MMOs.

I have learned in another MMO about ISK farmers, primarly chinese people. This chinese guy told me that he is employed at a chinese company. He plays this other MMO as a job and his company sells the ISK he earns for hard cash $$$ at ebay and other websites.

Damn this guy controled 5 computers at same time 8h a day in a 3 shift job. Do you really think chinese businessman would oversee the chance of making a lot of real dollars in EU, if it is that easy to get the money out of the TT.

Its not that easy to sell 1mio sweat a day to other players but damn if you can sell 1mio sweat a day to the TT at a reasonable price, that would really hurt MA.

Money out of the TT is MA money, not other players money !!!

And be sure, this chinese programmers can build damn goood bots very very fast, that would do the work. The employees only have to sit there and control whats happening at the screens of several computers running multiple accounts using bots which sweat all the day.

Believe me I am very very happy that there is no reasonable TT value for sweat, so there is no market for chinese bot speciallists, as they are not stupid and already learned that there is no market for the free resource sweat in EU if you industriallize(bot) the sweating prozess.

Oh, they would do it, if there is a market! They do it in other MMOs why not in EU, if there is market for unlimited amounts of the resource sweat.

Sweat has a semi-decent value! The value other players are willing to pay to avoid sweating but still use Mindforce. But this market is limited, it would become unlimited if this value is paid from TT, and that would open the market for botusers.
I don´t see the need to change this, as it would mean a risk for MA, as explained.

Yeh the guy we're talking bout is a bit of an ass, but the world is filled with people like that so may as well just chill and help out the noobs in a realistic way - i often buy sweat from noobs even tho i dont use it, just so they have someone to sell to that pays a reasonable price - i.e. current market.

Buying for .6 helps em out and costs me relatively bugger all so its all good..

Id warn them tho that (atm) .5 and above is also reasonable, so it's not a rip-off if thats what they are offered next time..

The good thing bout this guy is that he's not subtle and likes to get peoples backs up with spamming and insulting chat, so its usually pretty clear to any noobs around the place what the general opinion of him and his low rates is...

U gotta admire (not really the right word..) his tenacity tho - i've seen him spend a whole evening trying to buy at .4 then .3 while there are folks all around buying at .5+...

Not sure if I mentioned this already or not, but sweat actually does have a TT value, but I'd hardly call it decent.

1 Sweat = .001 pec
1000 Sweat = 1 pec

Given that, hmm... a little math... I could afford to repair all my gear by...

Personaly i gotta fully agree with previous statements, that everyone can set up any prices they wants. Thats free market economy, and sadly wasn't invented anything better yet.

I have no problem to sell for 0.54 - 0.6 depends on how fast i need credits.

Vhalior. well you can allways test him and sell 100 sweat to him for 30 pec and if you dont get 30 pec as he saying in his trade note and both press accept. sure its a ripping.It still dont get anyone the right to back stabe some like from my side calling a buyer for a ripper. its like you attacking all buyers including yourself perhaps if you buy for a rate who are bad for someone else I rather sell to a person with a low buy and act like a good guy under the eula terms insteed of someone with a little better rate perhapes but who back talking people and destroying for someone else.like calling people for rippers in a public forum. personaly i think, you might be him. But that really doesn't matter in this discussion...

And i do not acuse him of scaming. Indeed, everything what is he doing seems to be right within EULA. I have no doubt if i would offer him sweat to sell it for his price, he would very likely accept ? (in that case looks bit like ripoff in my book, perfectly legal as another side voluntary accepts his price, however i view it also as bit iressponsible). Would he deny trade request, then he is doing it just for goading sake itself ? I'm not sure about EULA here, but that's not matter of discussion anyway. 1-2, maybe 3 times it might be very funny to read all angry reactions from sweaters and people around, but 10+ everyday becomes an iritation my friend.

Yes ignore button (for me) would be great, not only because of his chat flooding with the newest 0.3 price, ...oops i think now it's 0.2 for sweat, but because of general anoyance by some of his comments (althrough i gotta admit never aimed at me, just randomly into public) causing.

At the end i would like to state that, i have nothing personal against him either. I honestly wish him good luck, but also like to believe that everyone will get whatever deserves.
