Hey,

as i notice when i hang in port atlantis a lot.
there is one specifik person constantly buying sweat for lower prices than the value on the market right now.
I think if you check port atlantis you will see which person im talking about.

First his sweat prices were .4 but now hes going to .3

For the wealth of the newbies i really think we should do something about it.
This person has his own reasons that hes not scamming the newbies.
just making an advantage of them.
He doesn't care about his reputation in entropia eighter..

The weird thing is though... he used to fill in cases himself against scamming traders.
and now he just became one of em.

So let's do something about it..
any idea's?

Is this the same person who organised protest marches a few months back to try to raise the price of sweat to 1.0?

First of all you can do nothing. its a free market. everyone have freedom to trade for whatever. its no law under the rules who say you cant trade for different rates. mmm well you can do 2 things about it perhaps, 1 teach new one how to get some kowledge about the sweat market, 2 dont sell if you dont like the price

Ripping off people is not scamming even though it is not recommendable
Scamming would be taking the sweat promising them 2.0 and giving them 0.0 by telling them they should click anyway ("I did not take the peds back from the trade, its a display bug, just click ok")

There is nothing wrong with this person buying sweat at 0.3 pec. As long as there are people wiling to sell at that price, it is perfectly legitimate. It is all part of the free market in EU.

If there were others buying sweat at a higher price, he would have trouble with his rate and would have to adjust. The only way to influence the price is to offer to buy sweat for more than he is.

The price of sweat is not fixed, it is worth what people are willing to sell it for. Saying he is ripping people off or implying a scam (thread title) is just wrong.

The rate you are supposed to get = the rate you are willing to sell it for. It is not "ripping".
