- Respect, takes a lot of patience to do this hour after hour (I still do bit not that much).

It is generally the beggars (who hang out in same area as sweaters) that get annoying and should not be put into the same class as the "sweaters".

But also the odd rude ass that likes to chirp all the time. I do quite a bit of healing around sweaters and the "heal me", "focus me", etc continuous shouting gets annoying and then after screaming for it no thanks, just to be back 10 min later demanding it again (dont expect a thanks but will get to ya when i get there )

Or one of the "your healing sucks"... (I run out to the sweaters the heal them while they sweating instead of standing @ revive often) yes, I am still building the skills and cant save everyone and if u got a ambu on u and ure HP is is not the greatest... sorry, u prob gonna die unless it moves onto someone else even with my attempts to heal (give me the PED to buy a potent heal chip and supply ME to keep it up, and I will keep u alive )

actually, she has a point

remember the whining hunters and miners at Neas?

"plz, make it pvp, the annoying sweaters just make lag"

owner made pvp
same day, hunters and miners "please, take pvp back, they don't kill just the sweaters but us as well!"

next day pvp gone

so i think sweaters aren't that liked by more or less many ppl

a part feels like "the almighty depositer" who stands above sweaters and shows it
most aren't like that, but some
sometimes its is a feeling like "i deposited, i have more right (for loot, deposits, hofs, girls and chances for becoming president)"

a part of those, tend to be quite angry about say a snablesnot hof
the newbie/sweater draining their atrox loot pool
of course, they haven't hunted snablesnots for themselves a long while most likely, but rather went for bigger mobs, i mean, they have more right for loot, right?

other ppl don't understand why they sweat, i mean, RL work brings more
that is correct
but sweating isn't 100% about sweat or peds itself then, it is a challenge as well to get the stuff with sweating
yes, you won't own shadow most likely, but how many depositers will?

another group imo, is some kind of former angry sweater
just got enough peds to buy weapon and some ammo and hunt went bad
so at least piss some ppl off before you quit
of course, it is rather hard to piss ppl off that play a bit longer with an opalo
so you can at least try to kill the mobs of sweaters

another one attacking mobs of sweaters is the hunter who likes to have a meat shield, so maybe sweater dies, but at least he gets some hits before the mob attacks him

but generally, sweaters and newbies are quite nice ppl, especially sweaters who stayed around for a while

there are annoying ones ofc
one being the person who opens a chat
"i need help"
"hm? check my guide at.."
"ped"
"oki, i give you ped for sweat"
and the person runs off usually

if newbies sweat my mob i don't care usually, but since i am having decay (armor, fap) and additional cost if i wait too long due to regeneration of mob i will kill the mob fast
if the mob HP is low i tend to wait til the last beam is gone, but then kill it
if you started to sweat it _again_, thinking i would tank for you on _my_ cost, you are wrong

the annoying ones of those group, are especially newer ppl who run around like chicken and aggro more mobs
which often enough leads to the death of them, sometimes of the hunter
at least the hunter will face more unnecessary cost then

personally, i like sweaters, actually i sweat myself (~2400 pts in SG skill)
especially as mentor i have seen more commitment and determination in some sweaters/non depositers than on depositers
if a longer term sweater/non depositer buys his first pixie, that is a special moment
a depositer won't think much about it, most likely buys at overpriced buyout even
i mean, there is not much behind it
sweaters have a totally other look on 1 ped than a depositer
the value is higher for them

if you see sweating solely for getting pedz, that isn't correct for most either
it is a profession, as much as hunting, mining, crafting (usually less expensive though)
some ppl really sweat for fun and because they like it
not for the peds (that is a nice sideeffect sometimes though )

so yes, i like sweaters

for those who see it as challenge, that is admireable if you stick around

for those who see it as profession and do it to have fun, who are the ppl trying to tell you that you rather should deposit the $ you got at work to go hunt or whatever, who are they to tell you what to do to have fun?

for those who try to get higher levels in sweating to compete to other high level sweaters, it is a skill, more or less as unimportant/important as any other one, so why care if others belittle it?

for those who sweat to rise the MF profession (and the psyche, which is a HP skill which can't be chipped btw) and mine for nexus to get the ME for using their NB/heal/focus/FS/TP chips to rise profession, who should hold you?

there are many reasons to sweat, peds being the least one sometimes
so sweaters have pretty much as right to be here as anyone else
as much right for hofs, girls and chances for becoming president

you can find rude annoying ppl in any profession with any ped balance or skill

As part of my quest to "break even" in game have started sweating quite a bit, and swamp camp is my choice. Apart from the good atmosphere I love the free healing and focus thats given out by skillers.
The other thing I like doing is sweating next to a hunter, although I aways ask if it is OK, and I normally give them a few blasts of my FAP when they need it as a thank you, not to metion that if they die I will probably die as well.

I feel the sweaters provide a service, how else would we all get the ME we need without the sweater.

I don't generally go to areas where they gather (Apart from to buy sweat that is) so they don't really bother me.

Being kinda new around i wasn't aware of that Nea's story Alice ty for sharing, on my personal view... well, i've depo'ed a bit, sweated some and taking my time having fun and exploring this new world, i don't rly like any of the extreme positions i see at times, one "huge depositor" watching a huge ATH on a snable young can be hurtful sure...

But for those "uber-depositors" out there, imagine this scene, a newbie is "feeling the game", sweating for hours on end, or days, to save enough for the Opallo, and some rounds, goes out and gets a row of No loots, wonder how he feels after all that time comsumption on his part, just wondering how the hunting may be...

I personally like going to the swamp and chatting with some nice people there (thinking Kangey, Mega, Thoreau just to name a few), always leaving with a smile, even if i don't rly sweat much... just chat and read (EF)...

looking down on sweaters.
hell no!

sweaters are very important for the market. they provide the main source of ME.
also. when done sweating they will be a part of the entire eu community/society..
so they have a big influence on the entire game.

if sweaters get in the way of hunters..
then id like to know which person calls himself a hunter chasing these lowbie mobs.
