Hi there, recently i've noticed that sweat isn't selling for much these days (around .5 to .6 pec).
So I created this topic to invite buyers and sellers of sweat to post any request of buying/selling sweat at the price of .7 and over. I hope this thread helps out noobs with their sweating ![]() |

The price of sweat is dropping, unless the buyers that deal with the small time seaters can find a way to raise the price of what they are reselling, the price will continue to drop. I wont pay more than .55 for sweat, usually .5 and I saw a guy buying at .45 yesterday night.
Sweating is like picking up beercans on the side of the road, the price of aluminum is going to determine the price you get for the scrap. The sellers dont set the prices, the buyers do. |

Actually the price is set by the amount of demand (read demand for ME) versus the supply (read number of sweaters and what they will sell for).
If there is more demand than supply, buyers will be competing for the little sweat available, and they will offer higher prices to get what sweat there is. Price goes up. If there is more supply than demand, sweaters will be competing to be the one to sell their sweat to the guy at PA. It just takes one to agree to a lower price and the sellers waiting for a higher price lose out. With more sweaters selling, there is more chance of one agreeing to a lower price. Price drops. So what do we have for sweat? Excess of demand or excess of supply? How easy is it to get sweat? Very. How much is needed? Probably less than is collected? Hence price drops. In other words it's not the buyers alone, nor the sellers alone, nor any subgroups of those people, that define the price. Or see this thread for loads more fun discussion on this topic ![]() |

Sweat price is going to stay low unless cap is replaced, or MF gets useful chips that REALLY drain ME-Chips that people will use a hell of a lot, and that uses a lot of ME. If that happens, the sweat price would rise again. I dont buy sweat as I gather it myself and make ME for my tp chip-I can easily gather enough to run it. If I got a chip that used loads of ME, I would need to buy sweat to make the ME, as I wouldnt be able to feasibly gather that much sweat. Demand would increase, price would rise
