My Quest to 40K sweat for Mining...

This is a different kind of sweat quest. My goal is to start mining without depositing. After following Shackelton's threads, it seems doable for around 300 peds. I am currently around 70 peds. I want to get 300 peds to have plenty to see me through a few poor runs.
This is where it's different. I will trade, buy, etc. sweat and other things. I will make Mind Essence with my sweat to take advantage of a higher markup than the .6 you can usually get on the street. I won't beg or scam of course, but I'm trying to earn peds not reach a heroic sweat level. (I'm not dis-respecting others who are trying quests like that, but that's not for me.) I see sweating as a means to an end not the point of this game. However, I take it as a point of pride that I have never deposited. I would like to become a successful miner/ crafter without spending a $. Wish me luck everyone, please.

First day totals 300 or so sweat in 1 hour @Neas place.

With an average rate of 500-600 bottles/hour (for me at Nea's place) it will take 65-80 hours to finish.

Well, since 1000 bottles of sweat is quite easy to get in one day, let's say playing 4 hours a day and sweat gathering most of it, it would take you 40 days to get 40k sweat. Considering you probably can't play every day, I think you can do it in 2 months or maybe a little over that, depending on just how much of your time you spend sweating.

I voted 1-2 months, I believe in you plummer.

Well I couldn't say if you'll achieve that, but I've no doubt you can become a successful sweater anyway

I see this type of thread a lot, and I think this every time I see them, but usually don't say it. Well this time I'll mix it up. 40k sweat = 240 ped = $24. Instead of sweating for 60 or 80 hours, why not mow 2-3 lawns (if you're a kid) or work for 1-2 hours (if you're an adult). Seriously... it's sort of a waste of time unless you have a great deal of fun sweating.

Before I made my first deposit I actually enjoyed sweating, I felt that I was building up money and got lot's of skills along the way. Now that I have made a deposit I almost never sweat and thinks of it as waste of time. But I recommend you to try sweating instead of depositing, if you like it. Go to places such as neas and sweat, or go to camp phoenix and gather a group of 3-4 people going around to sweat. It should take much time, depends on how many hours you can work each day. If you make your first deposit it's less likely that you will keep sweating and instead deposit more

I really appreciate the suggestion Ghandi. I thought about it. Then I went back to my additional plan, because #1 this is about fun for me I don't plan on spending real money on fake life. #2, as a point of pride, I want to be able to become a successful player without depoing. #3, I enjoy spending time in game chatting with others. +rep for the helpful post. I take it in the spirit in which it was offered.

3rd update a busy day in real life on Monday. Only 15 minutes sweated at Fort Troy 68 bottles collected. Totals after 3 sessions 493
On a side note, I purchased 1153 bottles for .6 each in PA on a hunch that the Neas sweat Nerf will drive up the price a bit.
so total in inventory is 1646.
Gotta get this slow start moving.
