How is trust built?

Gday All,

New to taming as i had given it up to be quite honest but dont like to see low skills on ava profile.

I have a lvl 2 exo stalker with reasonable taming skills (dont ask me for exact lvl - im at work...ssssh) and want to raise the stalker to lvl 3.

He is filled with food and i have been getting it to stand, go to, impress and greet but trust has not risen one bit.

Question
Do I :

A) Shoot the poor thing and put it out of its misery?
B) Sell it?
C) Whip it?
D) Brush it?
E) Feed it to my pet Trox?

Any help would be appreciated as this thing is looking me up and down as if he is sizing as a snack or a main meal.....

Your pet doesn't need full trust to gain experience, just a little bit.
0 Trust -> no Exp gain at all
1/3 Trust -> slooow gains
1/2 Trust - > slow gains
2/3 Trust -> a little faster Exp gains while training
Full Trust -> fastest training
