How to rename a pet?

Hi I bought a level 3 pet. with 996.4 trust. I've been sweating 2 days to buy nutrio bars because it was starving. When I got it out from stable, I got the message that because it was starving, trust dropped down to 0.

I heard only lvl 3 can be renamed, and that is why I bought it. But now I try to rename it and it says the Pet level is too low. I don't understand because people always said you can rename at level 3 and it IS a level 3.

please explain!

Hello.
The message you got said something like "It lost trust and experience" or so. That means: it lost also level 3 and is now somewhere around level 2,7.

That now means you need to first feed the pet, brush it a little bit and then train it to level 3. This is a typical problem for beginners when they buy a pet, so don't worry.

To fix your problem, please contact me on XFire and we can meet, I will brush and train your pet, if you can feed it.

But I would like to add something in general:
Pets cost pretty much money if you want to have them standing around (I assume, you want to use it for advertising). It eats food each day, and everytime it autostables, it will loose food (TT-value), trust and experience again. So it's not the cheapest way of advertising.

As you said, you sweated for 2 days to be able to buy the pet, I doubt that you should even start with pets, you will spend a good amount of your sweating time, just to cover the costs for your pet.

You mentioned that a pet is not the cheapest way to advertise. I was curious if you have some figures you could share with us as far as the actual cost in peds/day that a pet costs to maintain for advertising.

If you do not know for sure, could you fathom a guess?
