Question: How to get from young to prowler?

Hi there taming people, I have just tamed my first snable and then tried to go out and tame some more only to find that I am only allowed one pet at the moment due to my skills.
My question is this: What is the best way to skill up? Do I just go and whip a few mobs to death, brush my pet to death or greet it until hoarse.

Then what do I do with it if I skill high enough to tame a prowler? Do i just leave the snable young to die in the widerness because I have not enough room for it (seems a bit of a waste to me) or what? I cannot put it in auction so do I need a shop to sell it?

You can tame more, you just have to put the first one in a stable first.

Exactly, you can only have one in the wild but once you stable it you can tame another.

OK thank you very much guys, very helpful. Just one thing though, my pet was stabled when I got the message 'your skills are not high enough to have more than one active animal'......seems to have sorted itself out now though

So am I right in thinking you can stable as many pets as you want?

You can have as many stabled as you want. I have had the same message regarding active animals when I have had only 1 out (I can do two in the wild at the moment). It seems to sort itself out after a while or a relog. Some type of bug I think.

I had about 50 stabled and when I could not give them away I finally released them.
