I noticed that the time taken to auto-stable has increased by a significant chunk ...i wondered if others had experienced the same problem?
For the non tamers out there ...the significance is that if tamers can't auto -stable pets -or this takes hour - then the cost of pet deeds is goig to ROCKET.... |

I tame, but usually set my pets free after a while if no one wants them. The best mobs to tame are not near a stable and the auto stable feature is used to stable the mobs without having to feed the pet a lot of nutrio and run it back to the stables to stable it.
I can only tame 2 in the wild, once I have tamed the 1st one I feed it 1 nutrio bar, and run off the radar to find my next one. I then work on taming the second one, once tamed I feed it 1 nutrio. Depending on how long I spent finding and taming the 2nd one the first may have auto stabled or will be within a short time. Once it auto stables I can tame another one. I imagine many tamers follow a similar practice. You can not stable a pet without a certain level of nutrio unless you auto stable it like this. If the time to autostable is an hour as was suggested above then a tamer can only tame 2 pets an hour using the autostable feature. It might be easier to tame two pets and run them back to the stable, but before they can run they need to be fed several ped worth of nutrio so they can be directed back to the stable. This method would cost the tamer much more per pet. There may be other reasons, but that is how it would effect me if I was trying to tame pets for sale. Zar EDIT: Some tamers have unlocked more than two pets in the wild and could tame more than 2 in an hour in the above scenario. The 2 in an hour was at my current skill level. - Hey Zar,thanks for the reply. I've tamed pets a little bit but forgot about the animal handling skill limitation. In that case, it would make taming a lot slower (or costly, if stabling them yourself). - Chris |

We knew something like this would happen, as MA makes professions harder to do the longer they are in game. So next VU will bring pets that can only be tamed on Amethera, where running them to stable will need ages and 100s of clikcs = 100s of nutrios? lol

I am not getting my pets to autostable AT ALL
The last three I have tamed, using the "feed and leave" method, have simply vanished - no pet deed in inventory, and mob no longer at tamed location. I have submitted a support case, but so far MA says they cannot identify the problem. Am I the only one with this problem? |
