We may not have been happy about it, but at least we would have known.

I hear ya there... I'm just saying that it's pointless.... it's fixed, if they tell you or not, either way, it's fixed. Nothing you can do about it I suppose, so telling you makes no difference in my mind.... but people do think differently

I don't accept that I have been exploiting a bug for the last two years. I think you are just plain wrong on this issue.
Players exploiting bugs get warned by MA and then banned. The selling of deeds has been open and clearly communicated directly to MA - they have done nothing and have accepted the situation.
This is then a feature which they have changed. In changing it people's businesses have been damaged and players have lost money.
MA should have at least had the decency to tell us that they had amended the feature.
Your question is based on you offering a logical choice between two polarities - taming or not taming. There are lots of other alternatives which MA could have taken if this was a 'bug' - the idea of two polarities is nonsense.

Again, i understand what you're saying, but, I don't think you were exploiting a bug. I think
MA fixed a 'bug', and didn't tell people, so you are mad. If they told you, you think it would have made a difference. I say it would have made matters worse... people would complain more. But, none the less, the decision had been made, and weather they tell you or not, it's over with. I'll give aGREAT example here... Armor decay... for years, armor decay was a mystery. People eventually figured it out..
MA never told anyone how it worked, we figured it out... They told people they were changing they way it worked (not a bug really), and people flipped the fuck out (me included). Another example, we all exploited the 'T' bug where you could revive quicker (or at least most of us), not even knowing it was a bug... they announced it, changed it, and people went ape shit.... me included... still pisses me off.... none the less, tell me, or don't tell me, the decision is not mine to make, and whether it irritates me or not, it's their thing to do.... I accepted that a long time ago....

wow, would not of wasted all the time and energy on the big dakibas... just would of stuck to the smaller tame and release method if I had known....
