Question: Loot from tamming ?

I was watching a guy tamming and I ask him if he gets anything out of tamming. He told me that he has got several HOFs from tamming. I not sure how that works but would it be that one would get the loot from a mob, if any, from tamming the mob. That is about the only way I can see. Let me know how that works, it sounds interesting.

When you tame a mob, you get the loot as if you had killed it.

My buddy tamed a couple and got nothing and we thought that you just got the mob, then the other guy told me about the loot. Thanks for confirmming what I thought.

There was a VU when mobs didn't drop any loot after taming, but it was quickly fixed. However, keep in mind that even in normal hunting there might be 5 no-looters in a row...

I did not know taming mobs granted loot Well you learn something new every day

I didnt know either until a while back when i suddenly got loot when it was tamed

Actually thought that it might be a bug that i got loot

Ofc i did. Since MA always generously help out and pay me back for crashes and stuff like that... It was the least i could do.

But if the mob u tame has above 50 ped loot, u get the global message? Or is it Someone withalotof Luck tamed a creature (daikiba young) with a value of 54342 PED and has been recorded in the All Time High! ?
