That's my point.

I don't see a problem that pets aren't taking damage.
I see a problem if people think that they can escape their doom and not be pk because they feel safe.
They will be pked unless they are carefull and paying attention, remember the pker might come from the side that you are not protected and besides if you are in a heavy mob zone the green dot might only appear after you are dead for a while (now that is a more disturbing bug that happened in the past were people would not see the others in the radar althought been next to each other).

Have you tried shooting avatars ?
Well they are "living creatures" and in the most of places they won't take damage.

I'm not in favour of this feature.
But I don't think it is abusive to use it since:
-it has enough costs
-it is easy to understand by the opponents what is required to do to continue their activity (go arround and shoot)
-hard to implement with some expectation of "sucess"

what I have against it:
It's only a few seconds (or less) advantadge that gives you a false sense of security.

Hehe wish I could find the picture of me using this for LG a year ago . Yes not many think of this though and it seems now a lot more will ;p . Fun to do it with funny named pets running behind you also. I think mine were named after cK Angel and cK Gem (both friends of mine, in good spirits).

Thx for posting this Miggo - it was interesting to test it out.

The pets will not necessarily have to autostable. You have 10 minutes to TP out, dump your stackables in storage and TP back. Besides, the idea was to have a pet handler providing the shelter - not the hunter/miner/PK'er. The pet handler can stay back and wait for the hunter/miner/PK'er to return. He can still use the shelter himself. True, he can get chased around the daikibas and may eventually be shot too, but loot is safe...

Nice tactics
Now we will see a whole new branch of profession: Daikiboys

Daikiboy:
An inventious profession for petowners with great pethandling skills, unlocking the bonus skill, "Round up" which enables the petowner to order all pets to stand closely around their master to protect from evil attacks. The pets will not be hurt, but will increase nutrio consumption by 738% during the attack.





Seriously: I think MA will either make this an official feature, or make pets injured/killable in pvp-zones. The grand avaited pet-VU expected to arrive sometime around 2011 might lay the groundstones to all this, later to be fixed and edited in a later damagecontrolling VU during 2012.

To Unionova -> So try send a support case to MA about this and see if they consider this an exploit or not. It won't be a problem since Miggo only made that once with a friend and didn't used that "exploit" for his own profit (just lost money in nutrios) so it won't be a locking problem for any1, go ahead, make a support case and show us what u wrote and MA's answer to that.
Better way to get the truth about this?!
