wtf kind of protection is that? Like I couldn't get my trojan to click yes in also that box?

well well... with UAC turned off, vista is pretty sweet though, imo.
Never had any problem with anything I wanted to do.

Well uac was MADE to be annoying :P to "teach" ppl security sort of.. but i think it got them to just get mad and turn it of and thus lower the security :P

uac is only annoying until you get used to it - unfortunately, many people (such as yourself, i would imagine) don't give it enough time and then simply turn it off - NOT a smart move - it's one of the bigger improvements in security

and as far as "getting your trojan to click yes in that box," you'd probably find that to be a VERY daunting task - if you read up on uac, you'd see why

By now any low lvl geek can prolly navigate safely in vista so any troubles should be solveable and given just a bit more time MA will prolly catch up also

I have only minor troubles with vista and those are even tied to the brands own drivers and not particurely to PE

still no way for me to write æ and ø ingame in PE but thats about it

They should introduce a grace period, where if you click "yes" in one of the prompts, you don't get any further messages for a while, like Ubuntu (or was it one of the other linux distros - can't remember)

i dont know what the fuss is on about.. i run EU with vista AOK and i get better fps with vista ALSO!! yust run the "C:\Program Files\MindArk\Entropia Universe\CLDLLPatcher.exe" AND IT WORKS FINE!!! if u want to install the game then also use the "C:\Program Files\MindArk\Entropia Universe\CLDLLPatcher.exe" file to install.. yust download the EU downloader and install it then close the download( the update window) and run "C:\Program Files\MindArk\Entropia Universe\CLDLLPatcher.exe" and it installs FINE!
