Info: EU on iPodTouch

whats the best "gadget" for me to do stuff like this with? if i was to get something, would an ipod be better? or an iphone? me no no.

I love my ipod but tbh I would love to have the web anywhere capability of the iphone so if I had the option to buy either now , I'd go for the iphone easy

hmm, i suppose i would really have to sid down and figure out what i want first - i'm not too fussed about superfones, i just want as much functionality out of one brick as i can get. when you say "web anywhere", do u mean just gprs real internet on ur phone? cause i don't want to pay to go online in any form. would just use the wi-fi, which i guess from u accessing entropia from work, u can do with ipod touch.

ah well, i guess you'll just have to teach me all there is to know about my ds then i only bought it so i could play mario64 again. tis awesome. was dissapointed that the "ds" mario kart wasn't "64" version either - really boggling as they managed it with mario

yup using the edge internet connection on iphone and connecting to your pc at home via internet. I really would get iphone after getting ipod, I thot id not be too bothered about the whole web on the move but I'd love it now

I don't think you can connect to internet with Nano without completly going McGyver on it, therefore it won't work ...

I bet ur right :/ I sooooo want a iphone but they haven't come to sweden yet and fells kinda dumb to have a nano and a iphone cuz the nano wouldn't be used anymore then what to do???=)

hmm i think the DS is quite cheap, so if it`s possible to run eu on it for crafting i migt get it. Did someone check if it`s possible yet???
I also mighht be able to afford a PSP for this, because a RL mate has many games for it i could lend, so it would makke sense to get one even if it`s quite expensive. Did someone check i EU runs on PSP yet?!?!?

Ah if i got that right my PC allways has to be running while i play EU?? Or is it possible to avoid that?

First of all, I'm not a fan of the iPhone/Touch, but that is cool.

Second, I suspect that this is technically against the EULA. Be interesting to hear from MA on it.

Third, aren't you concerned about opening up the Windows remote control feature?

And finally, If a person already has an EVDO/EDGE/GPRS device, it is very likely that they can use it as a high-speed USB modem on any computer. The only way I play these days is on my laptop, tethered to my PPC phone. If one was so inclined, they could probably plug an EU memory stick into one port at work, and their phone/modem into the other. However, I suspect your employer may have an issue with this.

But regardless, your hack is still pretty cool.

no, it doesn't work like that. i suspect it can, but nobody in their right mind will ever want to port EU for the psp. besides, they are not powerful enough to run it.

its not a 3rd party app. well, it is, but only in exactly the same way ur monitor, keyboard and mouse are. this is just a replacement for them. nothing to do with MA or EULA.
