For that I just meant the directory structure the C doesn't matter just the

Well... I fixed to have the directory tree mentioned above... still does not work... same error message.

"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

Anyone have any ideas?

I think Entropia Universe requires .NET Framework, and Directx 9? It usually runs those setups whenever I reinstall it.

Try to download .net and see how that works.

The easiest way however is to just run the Entropia Universe installation. Wait until it begins to download the files. Abort the installation, and then try to run EU from where you tried to run it before. Because it usually installs some files that are required the first time you launch the clientloader.exe.

I'll try the .net on monday and let everyone know. I couldn't figure out what the problem was because my USB would work on some computers and not on others. The others I'd get the msg that rayne jade was getting.

for .net i dont know , but som VU ago they did instal visual C++.

Oh, that might be it. I just tried to reinstall it to see what opened, and it opened an installation of "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable". I think this is it?

I got it to work, I installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 redistributable package and was able to run the Client loader on a machine that was giving me that error.

vcredist_x86_sp1.exe is the file name

At least for Windows wouldn't you need to make the approrpiate registry entries and have the proper support files as mentioned above i.e. Visual C++ framework etc?

Hmmm... now to see if my very controlled work laptop will allow that
