EULA Update, along with the other updates

After the couple of hours of downtime experienced yesterday, I got to thinking about the communication from MA. We have had multiple "mini-updates" since the VU release but very little information about what was in them. This bothered me somewhat but I let the updates finish and continued to play. I will, however, not play until MA tells us what was in the update for today. I was having some connection issues, and I saw that I was downloading a new version of the EULA. What was changed? How come there is no info from MA about this or any of the other smaller updates? Every single program I have ever used that automatically updates itself tells me even the slightest fixes/new content that I am downloading. I really do not wish to sound like I am whining, but it seems sort of sneaky to update the EULA and have us download updates and not tell us what has been changed.

Where did you find this information? I disagree with you because I saw eula.txt being downloaded more than one time (due to my wireless connection problems, it kept going on and off quickly since I was in a bad spot in my apartment). Even if I am wrong, which very well may be the case, there should still be information from MA about every single update to anything, no matter how small. I want to read in the clientloader that the update I just downloaded, that took 4 seconds to do, was merely to fix the displaying of the prof standing "able" back to "Able". I hope I am being clear with my disappointment in the communication that I think we all deserve.

One thing that bothers me is how the updates are forced upon you without giving you the option to decline.

I would prefer if it said, 'A required update is available for the Entropia Universe. Do you wish to download now?'

If you click yes - then the download starts.

If you click no - then setup program terminates and closes.

Alot of times an update is simply a new line of loot added or removed for example if MA wakes up in the morning and decides to drop a mod merc into a Hoggle they do that by adding a small patch , now thier not about to tell you that are they ? So when you see that minny patch just think about the joy they just added and your going to loot it

Obviously there's a misconception as how the loot works (no, I'm not posting another loot pool theory, just to clear this up):

If MA decides that Sabakumas should loot full Eon armour-sets they can do that on the fly. It's a just a tiny little setting in their database and doesn't require anything changed in the code, not in the client, not in the server.

Marco has stated already that they have an item balance manager or whatever they call it.

I have to agreee with the original poster.

Every other MMO you play gives details of the slightess changess made from downloading new exe's/content.
But MA have been doin this almost daily now since the new VU and not even a single "bug was fixed","bug`s been added","loot removed" ect......

I would like to know exactly whats goin on with them.

I would want to know if hunting a certain mobs has been given a higher/lower % return on loots, same with crafting and mining.

Wouldnt you like to know before you start that your profession has been messed with?

I seriously do not think that an update to entropia.exe has anything to do with loot.
