Thanks for the response so far.
I want to point out that this is not supposed to be a Eunalysis vs. EntropiaTracker discussion.
We both have our pros, we both have our flaws.
Co-operation has been discussed and might be an option in the future but not before the entire platform has been established.

@Kombinator:
It should track all globals, but it seems your client is not working right.
I have got this report from 1 other user so far.
It says the window is active, but no globals are being registered.
Would you be so kind to make a screenshot of your entire EU window (with globals in the chat), save it in the best quality possible (maybe high quality bitmap, or PNG) and mail it to me at eunalysis@eunalysis.com
It would really help me out in fixing this problem


Keep in mind this is the first public release and there will be some minor issues to be solved.
But i've personally ran trackers for 40.000 global entries without restart so it has proven to be stable.. once it works

the program causes lag for me wich bother playing, so i cant keep it open while hunting

Tested the tracker a bit last night on my system. Specs are: p4 3gz HT, 1.2gb ram, x1950 Pro 512mb video card. Was running in window mode, at 1152x864 resolution. Have to say that it was somewhat laggy, but nothing too significant.. Will test later today to see the actual drop in FPS.

If you want you may send me your system specs so i can make a good list of minimal requirements for the tracker to run properly.

As stated on the website, i use an above average machine myself so i dont notice any lag, but on the more common machine the gameplay will be affected a little...
I have added an option for ppl to configure another interval for screen processing.
Default value is 2000ms (2 seconds), you could set it to 4 seconds or example.
But if it really lags for like 20ms every time i understand that its too annoying to run.

Same goes for you: if you feel it affects the gameplay too much, try changing the interval setting.

Ok, i'm pretty sure i have figured out why the GlobalTracker does not work in windowed mode for some users.
It has something to do with the titlebar being larger in some windows themes.
The bug will be solved asap (tonight or tomorrow) !

One quick question. It's ok to run both clients ET and Eunalysis ? I have already register and as soon I go home (I'm at work right now) I'll download the client and install it.

My system is AMD dual core 3800+, 2GB memory, ATI X800GTO 256MB DDR3, running on Vista.

I have just update Eunalysis to version 1.0.2 !

Release notes:
- Bug with non-working windowed mode is fixed!
- Screen resolution does not need to be set manually anymore
- Datastream is now partially encrypted and protected with a checksum

Ok I test it. I run both clients. Works ok and I had a Hof today the first day I use the client. . About the lag , I have no lag.
