Help: Print Screen buttom error....

Hi all.

Was downloading Skill Scanner and also upgrade my Java too last version, but now when I press print screen to load my skills it dont work, instead Media Player opens????

What a heek have happend to print screen buttom...

Anyone have this problems or have any idea how to fix..

Sorry I have no idea I downloaded the new skill scanner yesterday and it works just fine with print screen for me

i have no idea what could be the problem, rapido, but just for clarification... the skill scanner does not "hook" into the PrintScrn key (or any other key). instead, the program simply observes the windows clipboard, and it does its job whenever it detects that there is an image in the clipboard.

so, there must be something else that you installed, that has tampered with the PrntScrn key

Ok, thats was what I thought also, but the problem is that what coming into clipboard is that f---ing Media Player instead, it sometimes work and the first screen coming upp right, but when I take next screen it dont work

I have come across this before, on a PC i own, where the "PrtScr" button copies nothing to the windows clipboard.
I never found a solution to it within Windows.
My solution was to get "Autoscreen".
Autoscreen sees I press "PrtScr" and copies the image to the clipboard, and saves it.
The skill scanner then works.

what keyboard do you have? I have a logitech one and it's extra functions screw up my print screen. Installing or unistalling the software can work.

Like for me i have to push this stupid F-KEY witha lock on it (thats what it's called it's not like F1 or F2) and then it works.

Let me know what keyboard you have though mabey i can help better.

Are you hitting prtsrn only? If so, try ALT+PRTSCRN while the EU window is highlighted....

Agree that some program somehow has changed your key bindings or added a "hook" to prtscrn to fire up WMP (weird though, never heard of that happening).

You sure it's not called the Fn key? (Fn, for function.)

Hi Dorsai, PrtScr is copying to file but it is wrong picture, it copy mediaplayer instead . And I have Aoutoscreen to, good program

Hi RexDameon, I have some noname keybord but allways working fine before and it dont have Fn-key either..

Hi Slick, have been testing both and results is the same , I wrote same question on some WindowsXP forum, will see if I get some good tip fro there soon.

Now I get it to work, skills saved in file, but still open mediaplayer every click on prtscr??
