Question: Rejected Deposits

Hello to all,

I've tried to deposit just now, and every time I do it, it keeps stating that the deposit was Rejected...now I don't know if that has anything to do with the recent DIBS problems...I know I have enough money on card...so does anybody have any bright ideas?

EDIT : This is my first time depositing, and I am depositing more than $10...is that like..impossible until the card is activated?

step 1. Made sure you own the card you are using

step2. Make sure the name you entered on the site is 100% identical to whats on the card

Check to everything above...but I was reading the FAQ and saw something about a $10 deposit limit...is that stuff old or it still applies? Because in the deposit section, it says that unactivated cards can deposit like 500 PED /month

Did you make a small deposit, wait for bank statement, then put in activation code, as shown on statement?

Seems this has to be done, to officially activate card.

Used to be 100 ped, not sure?

Although, when I did it, was more.. but maybe its because they already know its 'me' and old card had just expired?

But in beginning, had to use activation code.

I wanted to deposit $45, but it would only let me deposit $30, saying that I had already reached my deposit limit for the next 30 days...however on top of that, it said that unactivated cards have a deposit limit of 500 PEDs..and I don't think $30 = 500 PEDs...but anyways I should count it as savings

They must be enforcing the limit on un-activated cards. Six months ago when I started depoing I think I got about 100 USD deposited before I activated the card. I did it 10 USD at a time but I don't think I did over 10 or 20 in one day.

You will probably want to call your card company. I made the same mistake, and the next day I got a call from VISA asking if I had recently tried to make multiple 10 dollar purchases from some MindArk company. Even if they do not call you, I would still suggest that you call them and let them know everything is ok.

PS. You can ask them for the 8 digit activation code while on the phone too

I think once it is activated, there may still be a limit, but you can ask ma to 'up' it.

I could be wrong, but I remember having to do that once.

Also, my cc company only called me over a large deposit, in fact, they stopped it. (i'm not complaining, rather be safe than sorry)

They did clear it, after speaking to me, and asked in future just to let them know a day before if I ever intended depositing a large amount again.

3k ped a month after activation

seems they changed the non activated card limit. it used to be 1k ped now 500

i guess that makes things more secure.
