hi there.
i have the same problem.there are 2 files that cannot be downloaded: entropia.exe and cldllpatcher.exe.i tried with disabled firewall and no antivirus. my system meets all requirements(XP, athlon 3000+, 8800 GT, lot of hard drive space, good internet connection, last nvidia driver.) i unistalled EU every time before tried to install it again. all the rest of the files are downloading with no problem. the message i get is "the downloaded file has an invalid checksum". suggestions: "close and restart the clientloader! try turning off your software firewall if you have one."
hope someone can help me.

Savior, that sounds like you have a virus that infects those files. Make sure to check with a proper antivirus program, or an online one such as http://housecall.antivirus.com

There was a posst last week somewhere that had a similar problem and one poster stated that a recent XP patch that had been installed caused the problem. I have also heard of this problem with a firewall setting (which you already tested it appears).

There are 3 or 4 threads in the last month about the corrupt message, I think most were resolved as a firewall issue. Good luck

but i tried without firewall and still no success.
