Question: What resolution and screen size do you use?

I'm looking for a new screen/graphics card combination to be used when the Crysis update comes. and I wonder what resolutions and screen sizes people use? Anyone using 1920 x 1200 on a 24" screen?

I'm using an old Dell 24" (2405FPW) with old AMD-64 3000+ @ 2 Ghz and a recent ATI X1950 Pro on AGP (bought to see the shiny armors ).

I first played full screen 1920*1200 and it was fine.
Now I play window mode at almost 1920*1200 so that its takes all space but Windows bar and I can work in XLS or whatever without being deco.

Smoothy with all details max and 2xAA.

EU in 1920*1200 is pure pleasure.

I run at 1360x 768 and out put that to a 42 inch plasma tv I use for a monitor.

I can make my ava as small as my toe or as big as my foot with the zoom. Im thinking one of the better res projectors is next purchace so I can use the entire wall of the refininshed basement as my monitor.

I use 1280x1024 on a 17" CRT for entropia.

I have an AMD X2 6000 cpu & Geforce 8600GT GDDR2 graphics.

When playing Crysis I can get a playable frame rate at 1024x768 using high settings only with a substantial overclock, although I can reach this easily without any extra cooling.

Graphics core from 500Mhz to 700Mhz, memory from 800Mhz to 1Ghz.

High settings look so amazing compared to medium even at a lower resolution.

The best value card around around at the moment is the ATI HD4850 at about £140 which even matches the performance of a Geforce 9800 GTX!

Using 1680*1050 widescreen on every game now, with GF-7800 and Samsung 226BW.
Crysis runs quite nicely on almost all settings at high.

I'd strongly recommend nVidia GF-8800 GT/GTS, or if you have a bit more money to spend, go for GX2 high-end version.
(those new 9-series don't offer that good performanse for your money at this point, 8-series are superior on performance/price).

What ever you do, don't get an ATi.
