I cant login - authorizing forever

Hey ppl, I cant make it to EU today..It keeps authorizing forever and then i get "Connection lost" msg or "EU is down for maintenance"

Anyone else has this problem? It hapend to me during whole day, but sometimes i log in np..now it takes 3 hours at least



PS: I run XP and i have np with my connection

Had something like this ages ago and if i remember correctly it was an issue with my firewall settings. Did you try without fw?

I had an issue with this after installing service pack 3 for XP, whenever EU or the CL gets updated I have to confirm the changes are an update or the game stops on authorising. Once the update is confirmed then the game will run. I do not know if this is the issue you have, but it might help.

Thanx alot for reply both of you, seems its not either one of those problems, looks like it hapens from somepoint, whatever else then eu i run, this keeps hapening. If i run for eg, eu and winamp, or eu and firefox, its hapening..didint have this before ..but well i guess i can live without my radio

Cannot login anymore... and from yesterday to today, nothing has changed on my PC...

vista has the same problem..

Vista has the same problem. I get around it by running as administrator. Basically, your operating system is not letting the entropia universe client in your computer do stuff to update via ftp I think, so since it's not logging the program as being run by admin it's sort of blocking the program from doing what it needs to do to get the updates... change properties to run as admin, or left click icon and run as admin...

ran it as admin, still same problem...
... and as said before, nothing changed in my pc from yesterday to today...

i have sam problem with login. Just ALT+TAB Entropia universe and check if some cloud from you Firewall didn't ask for alowing Entropia to connect internet. If yes allow it and should be ok.
