Help: Paste Text Into Chat Window

Can someone tell me how to paste text into the chat window?

Ctrl+V does not work.

I'm a noob learning to trade, and I've noticed that avatars sending buy and sell messages re-send them periodically.

I hate typing! And re-typing the same message over and over again makes me crazy

Any help would be appreciated.

Pasting doesn't work. type in your message, press enter, it shows up in chat window. make sure cursor is in text area, press up arrow, previous message is recalled, press enter, it shows up on chat window. lather rinse repeat

Also, remember to use the trade-chat-channel by typing /tr before your message, and do not spam, people who are interested will scroll to see your message

Also keep your line short!!!

I.e. don't add a bunch of "-" or spaces or whatever just to make your ad look more "eye-catching". Personally I've never traded anyone with that behaviour and from what I can tell I'm by far not alone with that rule of thumb.

Just say what you want to sell or buy, where you are standing and don't forget the price! And use the trade channel as noted above.
