Just quick cut n paste from MB specs regarding mem and proc support of the MB. The ram in the machine is 2 sets of corsair 3x 2gig ddr3 1600. I can open the case on get numbers from the sticks. The configuration or placing of the ram in the slots determines what mode the ram is used in. When all slots are full it runs in triple channel mode going by what the user manual says happens.
