FPS problem (getting too much FPS)

Usually EU caps it's FPS at 60 (at least it always did that on my computer).
I have recently installed the game Crysis and since then EU tries to run at 100+ FPS wich causes my avatar to get trown back and forward as the client tries to move me faster than the server (at least that's what i think is the problem).

Anyone else experienced something like this and know how i can solve it?
I'm pretty sure it's the FPS, cause if i record with FRAPS, wich forces EU to run at 25 FPS, the problem is gone.

Just a thought since I dont know what could be causing this. Is it possible that Crysis set your monitor refresh rate to something different?

I dont think it has anything to do with refresh rate of the screen, also EU resets it when it starts, so it always runs under the same resolution and refresh rate afaik.

If you have this problem, enable 'Wait for vertical synchronization' in the options in the client-loader, and check to make sure your desktop-refresh-frequency is not set to a weird value.

And it is not caused by connection lag? I haveoccured same thing a few times and it is definately not caused by hw in my case

Hi, maybe you wanna mess around with your gfx drivers some more: nHancer webpage. Very nice tool imo. That is only for nvidia cards.

this problem doesnt make any sence. i would look at setting and configuration. 100 FPS should not make any difference to your actual movement ingame, just be visually smoother.

I dont have any problems with this and I have Crysis installed also, with the new Crysis beta driver from NVidia and DirectX 10.

it does sort of sound like a vsync problem. so i would enable that.
