it's been brought up before, but something is seriously wrong with the download speed of EU/Updates, at least for some of us
 I guess my PC is taking the wrong hops? For some contrast:  and please, spare me the "vista sucks" routine ... i have the same issues at home on xp |

yes probably your going through some nasty router that is slow as hell :P i got my download done in a few minutes or hmm might even been less than a minute

MindArk runs 4 FTP servers for downloads... if you do a DNS lookup on ftp.entropiauniverse.com you should see all four listed. Three out of the four work great, the other is insanely slow.
Simplest workaround is to cancel the download and try again... you may need to wait up to 5 minutes for the DNS information to expire and refresh before you connect to a different FTP server. |
