Entropia.exe won't run!

My entropia.exe application won't run because of PhysXCore.dll.
After I accept the EULA,the "Contacting Server" message appears and then... nothing happens. When I access it directly from C:/Program Files/MindArk/Entropia Universe, the log-in window outer frame appears and then it disappears.


YES, I already...
-Have all necessary requirements in order (except for the Vista thing),
-Reinstalled EU four times (AND erased all files),
-Downloaded successfully the latest "entropia.exe" into it's corresponding file,
-Opened all necessary ports and even deactivated my firewall (McAfee),
-Tried accessing EU from "CLDLL Patcher" and "ClientLoader"
-Read about this guy formatting his computer and succeeding in life,
-Updated .NET Framework (3.5)
-Whined about MA support's incompetence.
-Tried contacting the devil himself (he's busy disappointing some other player, would you like to leave an evil message?).

NO,...
-I DO NOT USE AVG,
-MY SYSTEM DOES NOT SEE MA'S APPLICATIONS AS VIRUS OR TROJANS,
-I DO NOT HAVE PROBLEMS WHEN DOWNLOADING NEW PATCHES.


MA support is useless. I can't get in even today, Sunday 13th January.
I'm getting desperate here guys...

Similar problems have many threads to be discussed and fixed.
I'm trying to fix THIS problem not "similar/unrelated" ones.

YES, I've already

I think it has something to do with the recent C++ thing...
But I've already installed it along with DX update files.


MA support is useless. I'm getting desperate here guys...

I have had similar problems on my work computer, and not with this game, but other program. It had similar symptoms, the executable didnt run, no matter what i did. It ended up in windows .NET framework update, and it ultimately resolved my problem. I am not sure if its the problem here, i am sure someone more lightened about .NET frameworks can tell me i am far off.

If they told you to format your computer or change a certain program...
then it must be some kind of file... maybe some .dll (as always )

Then, why is it that EU won't open after V.U. 9.1 if everything was all right before? Maybe a entropia.exe is corrupted?

I got the same problem but with the DLLPAtcher. file. It even comes with a trojan virus! Ya.. I downlaoded it 8 times and 8 times the error message (the file is corrupt) appears and 8 times it comes with the trojan virus.

ALready sent MA the necessary support information and are awaiting their reply.

I think the "Trojan virus" problem is easily fixed for AVG firewall users.
I, on the contrary, am hopeless.

I AM using AVG. However the file CLLDLLPatcher is crrupt everytime I download it.

This file is not corrupt.
As i said :
This file is not a virus. Antivirus interpret his action as a virus action and its true. Its just because this file modifie an already existing runing dll located in win32. This file who is modifie this dll is created by Mindark in one goal, only update the existing dll, patching it.
So, no need to have fear about it.
Window vista, one of the actual sefer OS, have no problem with it because before download something he ask ur autorisation. So when u do something such as instaling something on the computer, u do it as an administrator.
If u dont run ur Windows XP session not as an administrator, it can be a problem too.

It was only a supposition!
Just... a word or letter more or less in the code and it won't run.

Now, can we get back to MY problem? Entropia.exe refusing to start/run?

I dont say suposition, its the physic reality of the problem.
Do not be scared.
After, im not the administrator of ur operating system so i cant say if u use correctely or no ur computer.
But in 95% of the times, its a user bad manipulation.
The computer only do what we want to do. We just need to undersatnd correctely what we do.
For the majority of us, both on Vista or XP, EU work perfect even after this VU. So the problem is not sourced on MA side but on User side.
