Some Skills Clarification (MINDARK?) and dancing trees

Hi guys,

Don't know if you all have gone over the skills window carefully but I noticed something right away when I looked at.

I'm concerned and confused as to how the skills have been reorganized. My main concern is crafting, need to check others with hunters and miners that are more skilled but anyone who wouldn't mind checking and letting all of us know if you see anything that doesn't look right we'd raelly appreaciate it.

If you open your skills window/panel.

Look at Attachments Technology. This specifically states that it's only for weapons attachments and not anything else. Even if MA says it applies to everything, they should make it clear because as it stands now it doesn't, they need to know what their descriptions say.

Now we move to Manufacture Attachments. Here againg, it states that it's only weapons attachments and not attachments in general.

So, does this mean we get less skills for other type of attachments, have they removed them etc? I was wondering cause that's what I will get into but for the moment, maybe I'm just gonna not do anything anymore...or ever...

I dont like the wishy/washy explanations of MA and yeah, the DANCING TREES/plants!!!! Didn't someone say they fixed the problem?!! Lies all lies!

And that was my midnight observation.

I guess those skill text descriptions where written a long time ago, in a time where some of the current systems where not yet ingame.

Also those skills do not apply to attachments like armor plates.
Although they apply to manufacturing mining attachments.


Also about the dancing trees, i guess this might be a problem that has to be fixed at a local level?

So whine a bit less and write a support case telling them where you've seen some dancing trees. (dancing, not blowing in the wind).

And another one inquiring them if the description of those skills is correct.

Btw i've never seem MA saying it applies to all attachments.

Like Cougar said the skill descriptions were probably written way back and not updated when they introduced the new kinds of attachments. Before there was just the weapon amps, scopes and laser sights in the attachment category, so the old description makes sense.

And the dancing trees... wont they stop moving if you disable wind in the options?
