Scanner benefits

I know that scanners give you skills while scanning, however is there a time that the skill gains lower per use? Also at some point and time does the scanner give you specific such as HP of mobs or loot they carry? Or is there a thread somewhere that I missed that already adresses these questions.

Just like any skill the more skill points you have the less skill points you will gain, so yes the skill gains will lower more and more, the more you scan. To find health you can just multiple stamina by 10. And no you will never be able to determine loot by simply scanning a mob.

I disagree.

Everytime I scan a mob, it doesn't show any loot. Most of the time, it's right.
