After EMT-2600

Just posting what i use up at CP that works fine for me and my actual prostandings.
Im at lvl 40 paramedic and i use the EMT-2600 as regular infighting fap and the 125 as a backup when critted.
Armor is mainly Gremlin and i prostanding in evade is lvl 41.
This setup works fine for me but as stated from Optima there are so many variables to count in that its hard to say whats better or not, its very personal and you have to look at your prostandings, armorsetup, wpn, huntingstyle and not at least what mob are you hunting.

If you can't out-fap it naked with your skill level's ballfap, you shouldn't be hunting it.

Using L faps I save peds over Non-L, quite a bit actually. This was absolutely counting my armor decay.

I didn't do this testing on big mobs though, as "eco" pretty much goes out the window on them. If you have to fap THAT much on mobs, they are above your skill level and you just can't expect to be "eco" on them. So Kaiser your explanation would be correct if a person is hunting big mobs over their skill level.




On normal mobs that your avatar can handle though, L faps save peds.

Also, I think your exaggerating a tad, L faps aren't as slow as your claiming, few mobs "swing" faster than the faps heal. I believe the attack times are identical to the 20/20 fap reloads off the top of my head.




Obviously there is more than Eco, especially with high-regen mobs.

Just because you have to FAP a bit does not mean it is over your skill level. Maybe not having to FAP much if at all means you are hunting well below your skill level Actually they are not, most mobs swing faster than every 3 seconds.


Optima found a much more PC way to say what my first, and primary point was. Go test what works best for you and use it.

Even if you were to take into account weapon decay regen rekill cost amp decay, armor decay and all the others you will still have a HUGE variation in what works best for you versus what works best for me, binford or anyone else.

My primary point here has been to try and urge you to think for yourself and decide instead of relying on what others say. I'm sure in some situations (L) does work out better. In my style of hunting and the lvel of mobs I regularly frequent (L) Faps make no sense at all when you look at the whole picture.

Which mobs?

I'd like to know, I've met up with very few. Aside from space, Only a few come to mind, Ossecolums, Tsk's too maybe? You don't want people simply relying on what you say without some kind of proof do ya lol?



It sure didn't seem like your point was "find what works best for you", seemed more like, "Your Fking wrong, L faps suck period. You haven't a clue how to figure 'real' eco" to me.

fap 90, and then when you can afford it adj fap, then imp, then mod.

That "conventional wisdom" is only true if it is also true that MA returns 0% of fap decay costs, and that has never been proven (or shown to be very likely) afaik. (nor the same with armor decay costs)

People have made assumptions about how the loot system works that are not necessarily true, and based on my own experience I have my doubts (just doubts, as I have not taken the time to do an extensive test myself; maybe I should).

Depends on definitions i guess Id still define "playing more eco" as getting more for less here and now so to speak. Now if that influences loot somehow i dont know, problem is its insanely hard to test since loot can vary so much even with the same gear from run to run...
Regardless i agree that the "end result" of hunts is the most vital to check, if "uneco" gear allows you to hunt stuff that drops 200-300% stuff thereby allowing you to break even/profit regardless if youre getting 60-70% tt return thats ofc better than getting 900/1000peds back hunting eco and getting low % crap... :p
So again i guess... test as many combinations as you can and the stuff that gets you closest to breakeven or maybe even lets you profit should be your choice

I agree with Optima, there is no one Eco setup, you need to evaluate the overall returns and that can be both with little or a lot of decay, the return is important.. .
