I own one .. can't equip it.
Can't paint it - except the inside (which nobody sees).

Men can use them - without fear of being laughed at for carrying a woman's purse - since nobody ever sees it other than your inventory window.

And as for someone saying it was gay for a man to wear a purse .. well .. it is, isn't it ?
Not saying it's wrong .. just gay .. which means homosexual .. and a man carrying a purse would cry gay.

I know this is a term that is used very often these days and nobody means to insult anyone, but can I request people please remember that this is a derogatory term.

I agree, kids in my classes use it all the time without thought, to me it is like a form of sexism, and I challenge it as such. The usual response to which is "oh sir, your so gay".

lol - thats the point hon - gay men are not known for using womens handbags....

so how does it cry gay? effeminate yes, but gay no.

I find the whole thing odd that young people today cant see how that may be offensive to people. I appreciate they dont mean it offensivly, which is why I am only trying to explain rather than ranting and raving, but it occurrs to me the term people are looking for is effeminate rather than gay in general.


The word "girly" would seem to be a better fit than Gay, as 9 times out of 10 gay does not fit with the action it is being associated with, much like the use of handbags....
