BLP Entry Level Pistol

Hello all!

I am somewhat overwhelmed with information, as I've been reading quite a bit about SIB, economic stats, dmg/sec, blah, blah, blah...

Here what it comes down to: I just wanna blast some stuff.

So, I currently have the basic TT laser pistol (Omegaton 2100?) and was thinking about starting to use (and sticking with) a BLP Pistol.

What BLP Entry Level Pistol should I look for at auction? Ballpark price?

Should I get an AMP? If so, which one?

Should I get a laser sight, or not bother?


OR>>> should I just stick with the SIB laser simply to skill up handgun?

personally, i did the same as you started with the m2100 and switched over to BLP. depending on you prostanding i would recomend the svempa S60

I saw that thread earlier today, but thanks again for recommending it, as it is good information.

Well... I have hardly used the M2100.
These numbers are from my skill list:
Handgun = 59
Laser = 86

The Svempa60 is skill level 7?
Can I even use it?

The Emik S30 (L) has SIB.
I guess I should use that?!?!?

Other BLP weapons on auction seem not too expensive, such as Maddox I, and I even saw some FreanD Alpha Mentor BLP's... but those are not SIB weapons.

Should I AMP it? If so, with what?

BLP pistols go emik s30>sempa s40>svempa s60>svempa t5 (there is also the h40 brody, but its fairly rare.

Unless you can get cheap bulltac amps, dont worry about amping till the t5, then you can use a beast.

OK, thanks for the reply... that sounds like what I figured I should do for skill progression. There is so much information, it's good to confirm stuff.

For the Emik s30, all I saw on auction were (L) versions with the SIB... should I buy those, or are there regular versions I missed?

There are only Limited version of Emik S30 (as far as I know), the trade is the SIB vs Limited ....something you don't have with the TT pistol
If really want to use BLP , Emik s30 is the one to buy , don't bother with an amp.

Actually, there has been quite a few unL versions of the emik s30 L that have dropped. The eco isnt as good, but you dont have to worry about buying more when you run out. They dont cost too much, so it might be worth looking into.

EDIT: Also forgot the emik s50, comes just after the svempa s40.

Don't forget the Emik S50, a very useful little HG All mine were looted from Berys.

With how often I loot S30(L)s, I personally don't see any benefit from the unlimited ones. I still have a couple in storage, waiting for the current one to die
There's usually plenty of full tt (5.20 PED) S30s in auction for 6 PED, so don't pay more than 115.38% for one

That's exactly what I needed to confirm, as I saw several full TT value ones for exactly that, 6PED.

Any idea how many rounds I'll be able to pump through one before it crumbles in my hands?

Should I get like, two or three so I don't have to keep running back to auction every time I need one?

full tt = 5.2 PED
dead @ 15.6 pec
= 5.05 PED useable

decay = 0.211 pec/shot
5.05/0.211 = 2393 shots.
