Entropedia correct about "uses" of unlimited weapons ?

Just took a look about "economy" and somehow the Entropedia seems to be bugged.
It states 4158 uses there, which simply can not be.
Used it when I was in support for WoF and I surely had no time to repair it that evening and I blew about 250 PED in ammo.
Even in normal 200 PED hunts I seem to remember that it went down to about half of the TT value.

Also my A-3 Justifier Mk.II is stated with 17924 uses, meaning that it would not hold through a run with 200 PED ammo.

Anybody else notice that ?
Or is it just me and anything I touch gets bugged ?

I can't say if Entropedia is correct on the 17924 uses, but I usually trust the info there.
However you probably thought that 'Total uses' means the total ammo you can shoot through before the gun becomes broken. Actually, it is the total number of clicks before breaking. This means you can shoot through 17924*10=179240 ammo which is 1792.4 PEDs. Even more than that if you use an A103 or larger.

Talking about Maddox IV here? 4158 * 7 = 29106 weapon cells ~ 290 PED
JMK II : 17924 * 10 = 179240 weapon cells ~ 1800 PED

The field "total uses" in wiki is automatical calculated this way:

"total uses" = ("Max. TT" - "Min. TT") / "Decay"

The result is rounded up to next integer value.

So if those basevalues are correct the result says how often you can click (not how much ammo you can use) with this weapon or tool until it is broken.

In your example (assuming you was refering to the maddox IV) this results in shooting 291.06 ped of ammo unamped or 374.22 ped amped with beast, and those values are correct (actually the result is one click off ).

Mk. II would last for 1792.40 ped ammo unamped.
