Question: Prosecutor (M35)

Guys,

I am a little confused

I have followed the path of SIB guns. It always seemed to me that as yours skills progressed the next SIB gun was more powerful than the last.

I have now maxed Apis and was looking for the next SIB gun. This appears to be Prosecutor (M35) where u need higher skills than apis to use it.

However, looking at the stats it seems to be about the same as apis but with 30 less damage

This does not seem to make sense or am I missing something or is there another gun I should be looking at that gives SIB after Apis ?

You are wrong about the damage but it seems like the M35 isn´t better than the Apis.
I would prefer the Apis.

According to Entropedia, Prosecutor M35 deals 1 dam more than Apis. Never before paid attention to it, so thanks for pointing this out I understand that dam lower by 30 on M35 you have is the result of not having it maxed? Looks like SIB would be the only bonus of using it, followed by lower eco and higher price... Seems like there is no reason to switch from Apis to M35 and it would be better for you to wait until you have learning period on m45.

and the m35 has a higher markup..I'm staying with apis, the m35 has no reason to exist.

If the M35 is anything like the M15 steer clear. I thought I'd testdrive one but found the decay a little high for my liking. I think it was somewhere around 90ped decay for 300ped ammo if I remember it correctly.

Yep, I hafta agree with several other...

I WAS following the Prosecutor Trail, and loving the SIB, but the decay is Crippling, and the M35 price is just Stoopid. Double the Apis price.

Apis price is still pretty stoopid, but I'm sticking with it til I find something better....

Yeah, it's one of those shitty anomalies that just doesn't make sense. M35 is a level 9 print to craft and it is very expensive per click. Apis is level 5 and considerably cheaper. Makes no sense at all.

i agree with photon on this one, level 9 weapon should be considarably better than level 5 one, but m35 while is better than apis but on a such a low margin that it should really be looked into by MA. MA really f'ked up prosecutor series, look at m45 for example and tell me how is that one any better than m35?

is this weapon faster or is it the same dps on it as the apis? if you dont count the 1 more in damage.
