I am am confused in what I have going for me. I have a Nano Dai Katatana and a Isis LR-48. My profession levels are: Ranged Laser (dmg) 22, Laser Sniper (hit) 22, Sword (Dmg) 19, Sword (hit), 19.
Now for the Isis LR-48 im at 100% dmg and hit, but only have 31/48 attacks per minute. For the Nano Dai Katana im at 100% hit and dmg, but only 44/57 damage per minute. Here is the most pertaining skills I have: LB: 4006 Rifle: 3743 Anatomy: 3691 Laser Wep Tech: 3602 Ranged Damage Asses: 2406 Inflict Melee Dmg: 2148 Inflict Ranged Dmg: 2060 Marksminship: 1974 Evade: 1537 Melee Combat: 1156 Aim: 862 What am I missing on getting the most damage per minute? I have read the thread on what skills affect on profession and I seem to pretty well rounded on the major skills hense why I am at 100%, but I don't get what I need to get the full damage per minutes. Anyone have any idea/help? Thank You. |

That's also my guess.
Looks like you chipped things in and/or out - in turn screwing up the balance of your skills. |

I don't remember what I chipped out, that was a long time ago. I never realized how low my aim was until i posted this thread. I just chipped aim to 2133 and it didn't even change the damage per minute on either. So I too assume that I have a imbalance on skills due to chipping. Any idea on where I should start on re'chipping or chipping out?

I know that tool. :-P
Thing is, I do not know what skills affect the damage/min. Thing that doesnt make sence is that it affects both my lb and rifle. So I am assuming its a skill shared between the two. Obviosily it was not aim. :-P Any skill suggestions? Im sure I am not the only one ever in this predicament. |

That stuff about screwing up skill balance is nonsense. You've simply just reached the beginning of SIB and will have to progress a few more levels to max the weapons.
SIB tools and weapons work this way: before you reach the SIB level, it will say "Not Yet" and a percentage will show you how far you have to go. When you reach SIB level, it will say "Yes" and you will get SIB as you skill. When you max the weapon, it will say "Not anymore". |

If the learning periods on the (L) weapons do not say "Not anymore" then you have not completely maximised your ability to use it.
Not sure which of hit and dmg professions influence attacks/min though. Only other way to boost dmg/sec is to use a bigger weapon. - Deathifier |
