New uber (L) shortblade

Just wanted to announce that the Genesis Firefly (L) has been fully added to the wiki: http://entropedia.info/Info.aspx?chart=Weapon&id=536

Ouch!
At 90 dmg, it has almost 50% more damage than the previous best shortblade (the Bett, with 64), Unique Roman Ram Purifier Prototype excluded. With 45 attacks/min., it ranks 3rd in dmg/s (again excluding URRPP) after the Enblade 10 and imp 7, with 67.5 dmg/s (vs 81.7 and 70).

The two blades above it have intrinsic dmg/pec of 3.54 and 3.33, and Firefly's is 4.2, so this is quite the blade. It has a rather ambitious starting level of 34 and a cool yellow glow.

I've put it up on auction at 150% SB and 250% buyout. It's not economical for hunting at that price, but at SB it's about like the two competing blades, and if you've got the skills to use it, it's a much deadlier PK weapon.

Don't forget the unique "big f'in" axe.

Edit: And I might add that the option of "melee" in the drop-down will only result in one weapon (the tesla blade) - obviously someone made a mistake when putting it up on the wiki.

This is just for shortblades. :P

I was actually quite surprised when i found out how good it is compared to the manufactured ones. Quite a step for melee users. The UL one will be a monster...

Edit: I fixed the Tesla just like i fixed the Firefly. Same guy put them both in, i'm guessing. He switched the "Class" and "Type" and left of the 's' on "shortblades" and "longblades". The 's' seems kinda wrong, but oh well.

Thx for updating wiki. I was able to guess which mob it dropped from checking Entropia Tracker after it dropped

I'l like to see a pic of it wielded...the model looks neat.

The weapons in the new BP book make it seems we will see more weapons with other damage types like fire and cold.

Yeah, i was pretty excited to see a new look for a blade. If i hadn't been in a hurry to run to work i would have grabbed a screenie. If i wasn't too noob for the SIB, i probably would have kept it, but i'm a long ways from 34 in Knifefighter.

Not at that price. It's cool and I don't blame you for asking whatever you ask for it, but these will do nothing for the melee profession if not enough of them drop and the markup remains high.
