from (L) to (UL) ......

Ok forgive my newbness here but I am currently lvl 14 laser sniper and have over 2k pts in rifle --- I started skilling with (L) weapons and now I can not find any anywhere. The Riker UL3 has the (dmg) SIB still running but the (hit) has been maxed out. --- There has not been any Riker UL3's or Breer M4As on the auction nor in shops in Twin Peaks or Port Atlantis. ----

What is a good UL weapon to switch to?

I did pick up a cheap Fussel Charade arouund 50ped and I took it on a run NICE damage but I was averaging about 35-40 dmg per hit and the misses came in spurts Hit x6 then miss x3; hit x8 then miss x4 ... and blowing 11 ammo on a 35 damage is ummm not economical.

Also I want to try to get away from the (L) weapons as they are coming up on 200+ ped each now once I get to lvl 15 and that is a bit expensive..

I even started to work up an crafter to craft my own weapons but WOW I did not realize the sink that is 42% max COS wow the house in Vegas don't even have those odds

42% COS, but 200% return on average = 94% overall. It is rarely 200% without a global, but even so it is not quite that bad.

For the weapons keep on skilling with what you can get until you reach a point where you are reasonable on the LR32 - these drop frequently enough to be available and some lower TT ones can be found. So, if you find a UL3 or M4A snap it up, if not keep going with the readily available M2A.

Also, have you thought about giving BLP a go? It will delay your RDA unlock, but there are some nice (and available) alternatives. My advice would be to keep skilling until RDA, and then start burning through some CB13s (105%) until you can use a Manis.

Yep, pretty much. The "expensive" L guns will seem cheap compared to the losses you'll likely sustain if you use something like the Charade or indeed any non-L gun at your level.

Remember you don't have to progress right away, there's no harm in skilling up with existing, affordable gear and then investing in something bigger in time.

If u can't find a SIB gun, then use an L gun u maxed. FAR cheaper than using a charade at ur lvl... or even @ lvl 40 for that matter lol Untill u hit around 60-70 lvl prof if i remember right, it's too expensive to use non L And UL is quite a bit diff than non L, unlimited are L guns without the L, meaning they can b repaired and cost tons of ped to buy.

Under no circumstances whatsoever should you switch to unl.

Options:
1. Keep using the maxed (L)
2. Switch weapons classes.

Aim to max korss then p5a - these are two of the most highly available cheap weapons that you can use as a fallback when the (L) class you want isn't available.

Currently I am sweating -- to build INT up and after I sweat I am killing the mobs with an Opallo and I acutally am getting some raises a lot more than I expected ...

So I guess I am gonna grind some more


I was under the impression that SIB stopped after it was maxed out --- I guess that it does but you will still get raises from it and have the max damage --- guess it is going to be Molisks for a few months

Not being able to find the "next" (L) gun is a huge drawback to the (L) concept. I got frusterated right around the Riker UL3 as well.

I'm just using a Sollomate Opalo+A101 and A-3 Punisher Mk.II+A103 for now. I still have a Riker UL3 that I have maxed out, but I know it will be a little hard to replace

I am working on powerfisting and took up crafting them so I would always have access to the (L) fists I need.
