I would say, theoretically no, but practically yes. It is practically almost impossible to proof loot is influenced by the item you use. However, any claim that a certain item results in more loot should come with proof, or else you can make exactly the same claim for any item and it would be meaningless.

To answer your quesion: making profit or breaking even is not only about your efficiency. It helps but its just part of the story.

I agree that loot is not a reliable variable to measure, I just included it for intrests sake.

I definitley agree that a count of actual mobs killed is needed on this I just didn't think of, but will include it in the next one.

I agree with keeping track of maturities as well. I used allo

a) becasue they were a mob I hunted fairly regularly and i knew where to find vast amounts of them and

b) they are not agressive and it was easy for me to move amongst them and just pick off the providers to keep the maturity consistent


please keep the suggestions coming guys.

hmm i think the fast regen gives the karma killer a bonus, but that isn`t bad for the experiment. because kill speed is allways an advantage and if karma killer has it, this should show in the experiment too.

It is not the HA that bothers me, because I miss very small. But the min. damage is so bad on non L ones, it makes u cry

I am using the karma killer an im not stopping. I have used a lot of [L] guns in the past, but in the end you pay for all that decay and markup.

Eco died with the halving of the amps. In the old days you could get the most eco gun/axe and profit without globalling. Now you just need luck to global to break even. No global = no breaking even.
What you can do to loose minimal is to make sure you do not decay much.
I personally feel shooting more ammo and decaying less , is better then shooting less ammo and decaying more.

So low decay on armour/fap and low decay on your weapon, with high dmg/sec is important, to minimise losses. The karma killer perfectly fits that.
