Err I comment whatever I like, however I like. Is the risk of a forum. I am sorry if you take it too personal, but keep in mind this is text, in a forum, about a game
![]() Witte, maybe we need a common language or something. Hypothesis: "The misses and min dmg you make using karma will cost you more then the decay+markup you pay for a limited gun assuming they have appropiate dmg/s." as enounced by sitram. Now that is false (ok, I state that is false) because it doesn't take in account the possiblity that missed shots due to skills and unused dmg due to min dmg, again skills, to be payed back to the player in bulk, a.k.a hof. In my small little world, "cost", as stated by this post, means expanse - income and can be either positive either negative. Now, since we can't predict the main factor of the income, i.e. loot, what extended tests? Of bloody course that 50-100 > 25-100, gotta be analphabet to not recognize that. Ok, so? What's the effect in the game of having different HA and min dmg? Loosing? I don't buy it. A fact is that the true economy of korss400 was way better when it was introduced and was selling for 200-220% than now. Another fact is that markup is payed to another player. That markup is loss, period. That reminds me of another urban myth, "generally accepted as true" which was proven and certified by MA as false: durability doesn't affect decay. Hey ho, it does. Another urban myth where you did a part in destroying and I admit I was wrong by default about it was "regeneration is loss". JimmyB tested and resulted it exists a threshold. Let's take HA as it is, let's take the HA ingame description as it is, and let's not push players into a conclusion or the other just for the sake of written word. Don't get me wrong, numbers and testings are extremely useful, but their mission end at interpretation. A good "scientist of EU" so to say would stop at presenting data and wouldn't try also to establish his own conclusions as general truth. Everybody should build own strategies, because this EU is so damn personalised that sometime is scary and, except the times of opalo amped, I have yet to see a single damn theory which to apply to all players. Also, I am not saying SIB are bad. They close gaps, they provide extremely cheap skilling, especially until serendipity, now they provide uber alternatives on melee, cheap alternatives in pk and so on. But I like to pick nuances between these utilities. |

Anyhow, I totally agree everyone should interpretate the data the way they want to. I dont mind at all that people with low skills use UL weapons . Everyone should do what works for them. |

Nothing is absolute - especially in the eye of the beholder. We have things now that are considered absolute but in time may change as anything is possible. The experience of the individual is what decides whether you buy into the status quo. As EU is "dynamic" the variables can affect every av differently - one person's perception or proof can either subjective (i.e. Lootius) or objective (the bean counters) or some combination thereof. Bottom line for the most part we all play either with what we have or what we feel comfortable with.

i didnt read whole thread ,, but in my experience (3 years ingame ) non sib gives faster skill gain at the expense of efficiency ,, its up to the individual to determine if skill gain is more important than max damage .
