Question: A104 vs A105 Are my calculations correct?

I was considering buying a A105 amp. I'm using 104 atm and was curious how long it would take to get that 2000 ped markup back.
According to eutools breer p5a with A104 deals 2.842 dmg/pec and with A105 2.853. That is 1 dmg costs 0.3518 pec for A104 and 0.3505 for A105. As the average dmg/sec for p5a with A105 is 34.086 then every second of using that gun I save 0.044 pec. So it would take approx 1263 hours or 53 days of non-stop clicking to get the markup back. Which basically means that it would take a year of hunting 4 hours a day. Am I right?

I haven't done the calculations myself but you are probably right. The important thing though is that you'll be able to sell it for at least what you bought it for when you are finished with it. I wouldn't think about it as 2k lost ped that you need to get back in eco.

Remember that you can also do more damage with the A105 which means higher mobs are possible and I think it also takes more shots to fully damage it, so you can hunt for longer. Also the price is going up so chances are if you sell it later on you will make a profit. Just think of it as having 2k tied up in an item and not as 2k lost.

With the 105 you will do more damage and could possibly kill the mob with less shots thus saving on ammo, and the faster you can kill the mob there is less decay on the armor. And like the others have said since it is not L you will probably be able to get your ped back when you sell it.

Just use a finisher, I use a 105 at times but it does not stop me from pulling out a Riker Ul1 to finish a mob. Or if you wanna use your main gun unamped to finish it is as easy as leaving a few peds on the gun when you get a new one.

Yep, Opalo, S30, P2a, S50 - all of these are good for the job
As well as saving decay on your main gun when you want to hunt little mobs for whatever reason.

Let me explain the concept of INVESTMENT!
When you are done with the A105, or you want to switch to BLP, and you choose to sell it, you will get paid for the amp!

That's right, after you're done with it, you can sell it to someone and get your money back and hopefully more! I paid TT+40 for an A105 a couple years ago and it's worth TT+2250.00 now! I never worried about "how i would make back the +40 ped" because I could always sell it for +40 or more.

Of course, sometimes you will lose on investments, but let's not jinx anything

In all seriousness, I say it's your decision. If you want one and you have the money, go for it. If you don't really want it, just leave it and see if you want it in the future. Or flip a coin. It's all your choice.

I know you can use a finisher , but this is an effort to lower amp prices and you all are not cooperating, so i though i'll give a hand to the TS.
