My disciple bought a scope recently, but she does not have a scroll mouse.

Is there an alternate way to zoom forward?

I am pretty sure there are zoom commands in the action menu that does the same thing as the scroll wheel. It might not give the same accuracy as the wheel but it should be good enough.

You should recommend getting a new mouse to your disciple. For less than $5 he/she can switch from that ancient mouse to one with a scroll wheel that doubles as a 3rd mouse button.

Tell me, By action menu you mean the right click options, correct?

By default the X key will bring up the full menu. You can use this menu to bind the zoom command to your keyboards with the command editor.

I would recommend placing them near the movement keys so you can zoom in and out while moving.

I guess he means action library. You can assign any function from action library to almost any key on your keyboard.

For less than 10$ you'll get also rid of the ball under the mouse. It will be replaced by red light. Clickable mouse wheel comes along usually.
