What mid-range Laser rifle ?

Hi
Been playing for 10 months or so now

When hunting I realize Laser category has something of a good start with the Opalo and nice line of L weps thereafter... Until you hit the wall

On the contrary BLP is up for an awfull start (no opalo real equivalent, some close to but you need auction knowledge to buy them, not available at TT and so on)

But after a while I now see that there is somewhat of a big emtpyness when you reach a certain lvl in laser sniping...I know about the FF series but they seem soooo sloooow to me...not very good dacay either, high ammo consumption...

Once again, on the contrary, BLP his doing good when you reach a certain lvl ! (with the VAt and AS series) and then some more.

Is it me or this seems like wasted money cause I could have used BLP's straight from the bat...loosing more peds in the beginning (when the skills are the cheapest) and then enjoying these nice mid-range BLP weps ? (now that my skills already cost me more...and more...)

adapted anabolic is the best choice imo. With A106 it`s quite close to as-129 with dante.

there is onLy one choice at the moment :

breer m3a 110% markup
not very strong and only max amp 102, but cheap and good decay!

Isis CB5 = BLP Opalo... Although you have to pay markup.

thats the main reason i dont see the point in using high end L guns at all.

so there is no markup on adj hero or MKV ?

and, if you have maxed the adapted anabolic, it makes a BIG differece

sure im maxed with any L gun.... but common..... adapted montgomery at 220% would leave you at around 3.5 eco :P

Perhaps if you post your skills and HA/CHA withsome of the weapons mentioned people could provide more accurate advise.

The comparisons between (L) weapons and non-L that have been made above must take into account your skill and relative effectiveness with each weapon. The main thing to consider (besides initial SIB) is that the 10/10 HA?CHA you may have with the limited weapons may increase your actual efficiency and the 1.7(example as I dont know your skills) will reduce the actual efectiveness of non-L due to missed shots (decay and wasted ammo).

I have maxed the M4A and I do not see a clear next step in weapons so I am planning on using the M3A/A102 (cheaper markup so its more efficient) for a while, just as I did the opalo in the past, until I find a viable alternative at a decent cost. (I will still use the M4a when I can get a cheap one so I can hunt larger stuff occasionally).

Just remember the listed ecco and your actual ecco will depend on your skills.
