After H400 L?

Recently I'm killing some big mobs and I notice my dps (damage per second) isn't really enough for them, but it seems that after H400 there is no such L guns with about the same eco as H400, due to high markup. Should I just stick to H400 or any more ideas ?

Also looking for a panic/tagging gun, I have 2K PED to put into this ...

You don't mention your amp, but to get the most from your H400 you will want the a106 amp, which might still be within your budget if you don't have it. The H400 + a106 is really your pinnacle for a long time in terms of combination economy and dps. For quite some time now, you will sacrifice economy (read higher markups) for greater dps.

Thanks, I already have 106 on my H400 but still not satisfied by its damage

HL8 might be the next weapon I'm going to use then.

(H21 Scoaf - too less dps difference)
(H23 Crista - HL8 deals better DPS and only a little worse dmg/pec)

for tagging gun, buy a Marber Bravo or Foxtrot... panic gun... a ep-40 mercenary, ep-41 military or karma killer

emikx5 is the best gun ive saw after the korss H400 for me to goo so i choose x5 cause it has a nice dps and nice decay and its L so SIBon+decay+amp(dante,beast)-amo youll be nice unting those mobs with a very nice gun

Uh? EP-40 does less dps than H400 unless you have a *very* high profession level.


I've used an h400 (L) + a104 for ages now and I know what you mean... I'm sort of tired of it. Recently I just ubered so I have a bit of money for an upgrade. I'm getting an a105 and an adapted montgomery (L)

Comparison:

H400 + a105:
50.4 dmg/sec max
3.95 eco@150%
35.2 range

Adapted Montgomery + a105:
65.0 dmg/sec max
3.79 eco@240%
66.0 range

That eco difference will cost you an extra 70 pec every 1000 damage... not really that bad. Should be made up for by the quickness of killing (less healing of the mob, less fapping, less armor decay), and the extra time before the mob reachs you, provided by the extra range (less fapping, less armor decay).

ad monty + a105 is a wonderful combo.

If I need some extra punch and don't care about eco I strap on my eamp15.

But with a ARR800+eamp14 to tag with, and the amped ad monty, I bring Trooper 1-3 to their knees before they even reach me.

Saves a lot of armor+fap decay with high dmg/s

Even better with the close combat mobs.

It's from entropedia, don't bother with the guns above h400 (L), UL ones will cost me too much ...

I would accept those guns above 2.62 eco, per 200 PED run it will cost me 15 PED more compared to H400. (200 X 2.82 / 2.62 = 215.26)

Between 2.62 ~ 2.82 eco there are several guns with better firepower than H400:

Korss H400 (L) - 2.82 eco - 35.7 dps
GeoTrek H21 Scrof (L) - 2.8 eco - 37.4 dps
Korss H400 (L) Improved - 2.8 eco - 37.6 dps
Korss H400 (L) Adjusted - 2.79 eco - 36.3 dps
Unique Dub & McCormick Terminator - 2.77 eco - 93.2 dps (unable to get)
GeoTrek LP470 Manis (L) - 2.7 eco - 38.9 dps
GeoTrek H23 Crista (L) - 2.7 eco - 40.6 dps
Isis HL8 (L) - 2.69 eco - 44.7 dps
Isis HL6 (L) - 2.68 eco - 38.1 dps
...

H21, Imp/Adj H400 only increases a little dps which isn't really the worth to lose eco, LP470 has better range but I don't have the skill to use a BLP rifle, Isis HL8 seems good but it's too rare and because of that it's hard to find one at decent price.

Seems I should just stick to H400 ...

Have you thought of the Geotreck Elima (don't remember the number of it)

seems that it hasn't been much on tests yet but seems quite nice gun. My friend have used it and he speaks good about it. Thought to buy one for myself also when I did hit the recommended lvl of the gun which is 29 in laser pistolier / ranged damage but then I noticed that the stats are not so good yet that it wouldn't be so efficient to use atm.

can't provide any stats of it yet but you can see 1 at the Twin Peaks Mall, 1st floor, vixen's hunting shop (atleast last time I checked which was last night :P )
