UL Korss worth it?

How long would it take to recoup UL korss investment if I paid +50k or so for one? Im talking recouping vs buying korss's @ 150%

dunno the exact maths but it will take you a long time to recoup the investment, but if your an avid skiller/hunter it might not be as long as it sounds If I had the cash Id probably pay +40-45k for one

The decay difference between unL K400 and L K400 is small, 4.09 for the unL and 4.15 for the L. so thats makes unL K400 1,45% more expensive to use if you disregard markup.

I guess that is about as much as you would expect the unLs to shift in price (at least) so lets disregard that factor.

so then its just calculate TT and markup.. to save 50k in markup on unL Korsses at 150 % you have to burn 100kped of unL korss.

100000/127 = 787 unL korsses.

or about 9.3 million shots.

wich is about 2850 hours of nonstop fireing (~118 days)

But then again, that would assume the unL korss would be worth 0 ped when you are finished. Which it wont.

1 is a NOT LIMITED item and that make him big peds
2 the MA option to low/rise the number of the korss in-game is BIG
3 this item will have a big price after 1 year or more
4 if someone will pay 150% for a korss 400 NOT LIMITED the i will pay tt+10 for a full shadow (1998 and lower the year when shadow and mod/imp/adj faps where tt junk)
5 someone how sells a korss 400 need to see with how much it will sell , is a good handgun and skiller
6 on feb this year the A101-103 WHERE TT JUNK and now ..... :O yes tt+40 a101 tt+30 a102 and tt+30 a103 .... and of course .... sept last year a 105 was TT JUNK.... and 104 same ..... now ... :O ooo yea...... big cash ... nice of me cause i have some of those.

Anyways. To answer the OP, if you are paying about 50k ped on the UL korss, and 265.5 for a L korss (+150%) to get to the 50,000 ped you will go through 188.32 Korss. Now since when they break you will get TT for them of 5.31 a pop, You will get 999.98 ped back. So you can actually reduce the number from 188.32 korss, to some number less than that, but I don't wanna do that math. Actually, the TT on the broken korss is low enough in this instance that you could practically just subtract 3.77 korss or roughly 184.55 korss.

After fooling around with the numbers some more I got 419.69 days of non-stop firing. (34,448,472 shots (185*18662 shots) divided by 57 to get a really big number of minutes, then divided that by 60 to get to hours, then divided once more by 24 to get to days).

Note: Numbers are by no means exact, for I did take some liberty in rounding.

it depends on the way you look at it.

people say that you're paying for the ease of use. ie. you don't need 300kped worth of skill, u just need to pay 50-60k for the weap and you're at maxed out stats already. but the k400 ((L) and un(L)) doesn't have a high skill req anyway, so imo that argument doesn't apply.

i was considering bidding on one, but 60k is too much, especially at this time when all these new un(L) guns are coming out. all you're paying for is the repairability, which doesn't mean much when you're more eco with k400(L) @ 150% than with an imkII. also, the k400 is NOT a money maker, so if you consider that for just an extra 40k you could buy a hangar and fly, and with those proffits buy as many k400(L)'s as you want and will never have to depo again, its a pretty poo-ey number for that gun.

How can the k400 not be a money maker, when you say its eco is better than imp mk2 (considering your skill level) ?

Are you saying owners of imp mk2s dont profit regularly?

you can hunt with an eco of 6.0 and still not proffit, nvm ~4.1

return has nothing to do with dmg/cost, it is totally random.

and ppl with imkII's can proffit, sure, but i recon its the way in which they do it.. i don't think its just a good loot streak, i think that they sell off the excess skill they don't need and that helps a lot toward the cost... just my theory tho..

imk2 owners profit ON THE LONG RUN but not every run, and it's the long run you should think about (and no its not about selling skills every time lol)

What I believe he was getting at is that it doesn't matter what your eco is, you can profit or lose with the most uber gear or with not so great gear. Profitting is more than just not spending as much on markup or on decay. You can still lose even if you you have "6.00 eco" because you can still get bad streaks; likewise you can profit using an unmaxed riker ul1 on an argonaut if you happen to get a 144 ped global (Yeah I know that last example was a little specific lol).
