Rocket lunchers and there range....

well i recently got a rocket luncher and was all exited that i would finaly have an afordable tag gun then this happend

i dont know if you have knowtised this but rockets fall to the ground befor they hit there target.

im just wondering if you can actauly use the dang thing to its full after you max it becaus ei still have Learning period on it

if someone can help me with this id apresheate it

You have to adjust for the trajectory. It takes some getting used to, but what you have to do is learn the range on it and adjust accordinly. You don't aim directly at a mob that is at a distance. You have to actually aim above it (and the more so the further out) in order to hit it. Practice a bit and you'll be good in no time.

Nice I didnt know that-Cant wait to try things with trajectory now! We now need some uber powerful mortars for pvp that can fly for miles but are hard to aim That would be pretty cool! Sending mortars to the rig

I'm pretty sure rocket range is bugged anyway... I need to test it and confirm but I seem to get about 60-70% of what the stats indicate at the max range out of my SER250.

hehe i seemto think my rocket jumping actions in and out fo the ring @ twin has effected iceman enough to buy one


Yeah aim above, after 5 mins you get used to it and can judge the trajectory easy as hell.


Also YES the actual range of the launchers compared to stats range is screwed up.

Side by side with marber the launcher should near about match the range but it to my reckoning only goes around 80-85m

For real ballistic fun get a nade launcher, it's a hoot to lob one way high and drop it right on a mob. They don't flinch until it detonates.
I'm skilling projectiles real hard right now so I am blowing up everything these days.
