I think I might be the cause of it...

As we all know, these days item switching is restricted to a certain amount per second (2 I believe?)

now, a while back (before that update which implemented that), I discovered a dangerous bug, that I reported to MA (never recieved any compensation for it though). They must have thought that limiting the amount per second for item switching must do the trick (which it did I think, havnt tested as of late).

hereby the support case:

equip the high dmg weapen, (make sure both weapens you are using are on the quickbar), next, press the button for both the high dmg weapen and the fast weapen at the same time.

if executed correctly, the high dmg weapen will fire, however, also have the reload of the fast weapen, allowing the executor to quickly change to another weapen and repeat the proces. (if you shoot with the fast weapen you will not do any dmg. however, if you quickly change back to the high dmg weapen again, you can repeat the process.)


I am quite sure this is an serious bug, as it for example, allows strong creatures to be killed very easely without any effort

Eh... I never experienced this working (but always tapping like hell my marber and freandd when laggy)

However the Überfast marber 'feeling' is still exist after the VU.
I have seen in during teamhunt with other avatar.

The Marber stucks in hand for a few shots but only for the animation.
The damage caused is from the other gun.
The user will not notice any diffrent.

the thing was, i managed to get it to work to allow marber to have only 1.2 second orso reload instead of ~4 and yes, to do dmg aswell.

just be really fast (helps to have them mapped next to eachother) however im not sure if you still have the possibility to use the dmg of the 3rd switch.

I have this the other way around all the time
Tag a mob with FF8K, press the hotkey for middle range carbine 2ms too early and the carbine fires with the reload of the FF8K

Now we don't get to fire aynthing for a reload time of a nuclear missile silo Or fap for days...

Fixing bugs is good... unless you introcude 3 new bugs per fix.
