Economy of X5 - Whats dmg/pec?

Hey, x5 is a great gun.. been using it for a while..

But... costs 300% lol..

So can someone help me in finding out true dmg/pec?

You can use Entropedia's weapon chart. Type X5 in the 'Name' box, and you'll only see the Emik X5 listed. Now you can tick 'Include markup' (markup is about 280% there atm), you can also tick 'Custom values' and enter the markup you intend to buy/have bought the gun with.

Oh and another thing, you can also tick 'Skill based' if you have your skills uploaded to Entropedia, and it will show the gun's eco according to your skills.

The efficiency is pretty low @ 300%, I'd buy it somewhere in the 150%-175% range assuming I'm putting a dante on it... but thats just me.

agree ... it's a shame because alot of great guns have high markup and become uneconomic

i use entropiatools and look at average dmg/pec

Emik X5 (L) (at 300%)

max dmg per pec 3.229

but average dmg per pec is 2.228


so it is better to hunt with a maddox 4 wit 3.0 HA then with x5

well the reason to use the x5 is simple.... like if say you want a really high dps but you can't afford to buy thopse uber guns like foerippers and mm and such then you go for the next best thing you can probably afford and that would be those uber L guns heh

I think people are forgetting the true advantage to these weapons. 300% is not so bad when you consider that you take much less damage from mobs, this means less armour and fap decay due to the high dmg/sec and actually having a maxed weapon. Personally I save more overall on armour and fap decay than I pay extra as markup for the gun, so to me it is well worth buying.
