tag weapons

i am looking for a rifle/carbine for under 1k

i know about the obvious one which is a bravo

but i am looking for something with range over 80
doesnt have to do large amounts of dmg
eco doesnt have to be the best only using to tag the mob

but i would like to know ur thoughts any ideas??

Cheapest one would be the Lichter Carbine haven't seen many around though.

Also worth a look is the Fire Forge series with the Fire Forge SGH 2200 being the cheapest of them

I've heard that the Lichter Carbine uses resources that may be hard to find, which could explain it's rarity. But I don't have the BP yet, I'm only up to lvl1 weapons crafting myself...

Marber Bravo has range of 150 meters and is well under 1k, even with scope and laser site added. Thats what entropedia says, I can hit anything I can see with mine. And tagging is pretty much all it's good for with its slow rate of fire.
Otherwise, look at rocket launchers, most are rated at 130 meters (but don't seem to quite get it).

Bravo is the most well known long range tagger for very good reasons

• great range
• great dmg (especially w/ an a-amp 15)
• max +250 price tag
• drops pretty often from easy to hunt mobs

I wouldn't even begin to use rocket launchers for tagging. The main purpose of tagging is to separate a single mob from a herd. RL's spread dmg makes it way too likely you'll be inviting his friends to come and play too.

Personally, I used bravo for a long time and loved. There was just one problem for me.

Bravos and other Marbers use plasma skills. Since I use laser weapons, I solved this problem by buying a Fire Forge 8,000. (got mine for +800) A little less range, but it was a great choice and I've never looked back. Every time I see my laser tech skill increase while tagging, I just .

stick to OPALO if u dont wana to waste peds... ahhh on CP or on Feffs (or other silly mobs who like to run away) us any strong riffle (i use amped Tauros) to keep mob attention on U and not on other ava

I am using the Marber Foxtrott ME as tagging weapon, but it is above your 1k PED limit, so I can advice the Marber Bravo thats a real good tagging weapon, too!

If you use laser weapons the FF 8k would be a great choice as JC said (love mine too). You will hit much better than with plasma and the price is near your limit ..
and its faster than bravo - it's much more fun too shoot than to wait for reload

If you just want a cheap tagger go for a bravo

The bravo would probably be your best bet, good dmg, range and for a reasonable price.
