Nothing new to say, still writing here... I have never gotten any "cool" items in the loot window so i don´t quite know what it feels like... But hey 1 year 1 month in this world, lots of other "cool" experiences, ups and downs, frustration and joy.
Anyway I would like to use one of my 3 wishes now: I wish to have a cool item in my loot window today.

I don't think so. Of course it was a joke, but even if such scenario will come true, there will be enough people who will adapt. And newcommers just will not know how it was before.

I have played for about a month when I reached 10 lvl Laser Sniper. I knew nothing yet about how things works, so I said myself: "Cool, another 9 months and I'll be 100 lvl!". Would I continue to play if I knew that after 1.5 years I will be only 40 lvl? I really doubt that. But today I know that it will take many years to get to 70 and no way to get to 100, and I don't care. I like things as they are.

Well I think there was a time when nobody thought there would be (L) items and these (L) items would give you the efficiency that you gained from years of skilling. EU is forever changing. Some changes make sense while others may not.

I think what Svarog was trying to say is to stopping "pine-ing(?)" away about how it was or worrying about how it might be since all we can do being the linear beings we are is worry about the here and now.

The term the "Grass is always greener on the other side" comes to mind.
