Suggestion for game

K, you go to atlantis or twin peaks to buy and sell things, and the chat window is just ridiculous and absolutely no good to anyone, so MA why don't you introduce a scrolling text box above people buying and selling, they type in what they are buying and selling and it scrolls above them leaving the chat window for chat and not adverts?

You mean a text box above their heads??? ...Well...that would really look ridiculous...and besides that, it gives you more trouble finding what you need to buy...You would then must go around every player and see what's on their little boxxy on their head...You might miss something...The reason the adverts are on the chat window is for everyone who crosses that land to see...everything people buy and sell. Now, honestly, would you rather go around every avatar in PA to see what's for selling or what does that person wanna buy???
And...for chat..you could also chat while people buy and sell...or you could gently choose the private chat option..or team chat...or soc chat....

Well, we've already got soc chat, team chat, general chat etc. Why not just add a trade chat channel as well, which is unaffected by the general chat?

the fix is simple they need either custom HUD´s or a text fiel that has more characters pr line its allways been a problem but yes its getting redicilous currently a good long sentence fills 5-6 lines but also note u can expand the text field verticaly by clicking the small arrow tabs on the right side of text field

This wouldn't really be a good idea for Text boxes above heads. There was something about this on another thread of forum with regards to a game that had a similar thing. The picture showing the display was just covered with Text Bubbles and you just couldn't see who was selling what let alone what they were selling.

Also, this would increase the Lag in the game dramatically.

Ok, currently it's not the best and there are solutions that would help, such as shop networks linked together so everyone can see what is being sold without having to shout it out every few seconds and also enable people to sell straight away without the need for chat.

So, in a way, chat windows is actually an out of date tech in my eyes, and the shop window makes a lot more sense.

MA makes their money from the auctions so theyd prefer people to trade through there and are not going to make street trading easier without compensation.

They could put up a noticeboard at all locations and if you set up shop you could keep a listing there that you can alter say for 1 PED per day

or have a large commercial sign that flashes up to 10 messages and you have to bid to buy a listing maybe thats what they mean when they say they are going to introduce advertising because a large coca cola sign probably wont work
